Raumfahrtanwendungen sind heutzutage wesentliche Werkzeuge für Dienstleistungen der Ökonomie, Wissenschaft, Politik und Gesellschaft. Die starke Ausrichtung der Raumfahrtindustrie auf internationale Kooperationen stellt dabei eine hohe Anforderung an eine Harmonisierung der Systeme, Verfahren und Technik, um Zuverlässigkeit, Sicherheit und Kosteneffizienz in Raumfahrtprojekten zu garantieren. Globale Normen und ihre Implementierung sind hier ein probates und effektives Werkzeug um Klarheit bezüglich zukünftiger Investitionen im privaten und öffentlichen Bereich zu schaffen. Sie sichern die Zukunftsfähigkeit von Entwicklungen und innovativen Potentials. Die europäische und deutsche Raumfahrtindustrie und die Raumfahrtagenturen unterstützen diesen kooperativen Ansatz durch gemeinsame europäische Standards. In diesem Artikel sollen nun verschiedene Normungsaktivitäten im Bereich Raumfahrt auf nationaler, europäischer und internationaler Ebene dargestellt und ein Überblick über die Harmonisierungsansätze der verschiedenen nationalen und internationalen Normungsorganisationen vermittelt werden.

Space applications are essential tools for providing services in the economy, science, politics, and society today. The strong focus of the space industry on international cooperation places high demands on the harmonization of systems, processes, and technologies to guarantee reliability, safety, and cost-efficiency in space projects. Global standards and their implementation are a proven and effective tool for creating clarity regarding future investments in the private and public sectors. They ensure the future viability of developments and innovative potential. The European and German space industries and space agencies support this cooperative approach through common European standards. This article will present various standardization activities in the field of space at the national, European, and international levels and provide an overview of the harmonization approaches of the various national and international standards organizations.
