The paper, based on study activities in progress at the proposing organizations, highlights a Long Term Vision for Space Exploration aiming at supporting a European strategy for future resources provision. This is based on the fact that, for ensuring a permanent presence in Space, we have to acquire and exploit the required Materials and Energy Resources directly in Space. The presented Long Term Vision is based on innovative approaches aimed at identifying "Evolutionary Space Exploration Infrastructure Architectures" to be developed to expand the "Sphere of Influence" of humankind beyond the boundaries of our Earth and foresees a coordinated integration of various Projects, Plans and Roadmaps.
