Zusammenfassung:
The present contribution outlines the approach and methods that have been used within the EC projects EUROLIFT (I) and II. The studies are devoted to an improved understanding and validated advanced experimental and numerical methods to predict the flowfield of complete commercial aircraft in high lift configurations. A comprehensive experimental and numerical database for conventional configurations has been generated. In addition, selected novel high lift concepts are investigated in both projects.
