Titel:

Advances in Low Speed Aerodynamics: The IHK Approach

Autor(en):
M. Sutcliffe
Zusammenfassung:
The methodology and status of the high-lift aerodynamic work performed by Airbus within the IHK project is presented. In this initial phase, high-lift component studies are being performed to investigate the applicability of various alternative high-lift devices to future aircraft designs. Two component studies are discussed in more detail, the advanced droop nose and the Super Fowler Flap. Sample results from both theoretical predictions and wind tunnel measurements for these devices are shown.
