This paper presents the recent accomplishments by the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) in fluids-structures interaction. Discussion centers on research into direct methods for flutter boundary calculation, development of in-house aeroelasticity codes, research into fluid-structure coupling techniques, and development of the generic multidisciplinary environment MDICE. In addition, a short summary of other related aeroelasticity efforts occurring at AFRL/VA is included.
