Zusammenfassung:
An integral mathematical model describing the longitudinal motion of a flexible aircraft is presented. Unsteady aerodynamic loads on the wing and horizontal tail with flap in compressible flow are calculated using a linear, time domain model based on the indicial response method. Wing and horizontal tail are treated as a flexible beam. Lagranges equation and the principle of virtual work are applied to generate the structural equations of motion. Since this mathematical model is constructed in state space form, it can be widely used in flexible aircraft simulation. A generic: elastic aircraft is calculated as a numerical example through this paper. Three research topics for flight dynamics analysis will be given in this work. The stability comparison of the Oexible aircraft and rigid aircraft, the inßuence ofvarious parameter changes to a flexible aircrafts characteristics and design of stability augmentation system for the example aircraft applying two optimal syntheses, namely, linear quadratic regulator and genetic algorithm.
