Zusammenfassung:
Part of the Crew Assistant for Military Aircraft (CAMA) is the System Interpreter, a knowledge based real time monitoring and diagnosis system that monitors the status of aircraft systems and informs the Crew Assistance System in case of failures. Thus the Crew Assistance System gets the ability to react intelligently to system failures. The monitoring and diagnosis system is based on a three stage knowledge based approach, consisting of attribute extraction, attribute evaluation and diagnosis stage. A special feature of this concept is an efficient adaptation of the diagnosis result to changing attributes. This allows to begin the diagnosis at the first sign of a failure, without the need to wait for transients to die out.
