Within the scope of life extension programs of combat aircraft it is necessary for the development of modifications to make in service stress and load measurements at high stressed structurs with an increasing damage rate. The use of a special 12 channel measurement system of the SWIFT company with a high frequent data acquisition rate and on board data reduction is shown exemplarily at the combat aircraft TORNADO. Also the synchronisation of the measurement system data with the data of the On Board Life Monitoring System OLMOS of the combat aircraft is explained. The measurement system works autonomously and does not influence the flight missions of the combat aircraft.
