Titel:

Real Time Engine and Systems Trend Monitoring

Autor(en):
C. Tavernier
Zusammenfassung:
This report describes a method for the evaluation of the working conditions through the different measured parameters involved in systems and engines considered as physical entities during operation. The evaluation system makes use of the ACARS/AIRCOM reports or also called technical readings which are sent down at regular intervals to a ground computersystem over VHF or through a satellite connection. The results obtained are graphs of each of the considered sensor values showing the trendof their values over a number of flights and compared with, over a long period, recorded readings and combinations of the same parameters. The system will indicate the expected values for parameters outside limits and presumed values in case of defect sensors considering the actual values of all other parameters.
