Flight data evaluation software are exclusively designed for data processing of only one given recorder type. Thus, the operator evaluating different types of recorders has to adopt various types of communication and deal with a number of evaluation programs. In this way, his attention is partially aimed at the correct dialogue with the program, and consequently, he is taken away from his main job, which is the evaluation and analysis of recorded flight data. Creating a system that is able to process many recorder types used on the airport by an air force or a flight company would be the logical solution. This article describes PANDA solution pack which has been designed as a Unified Airport Evaluation System to address this issue.
