The ACMS provides data for engine and a/c performance monitoring, APU health and environmental condition monitoring, Ram Air Turbine test and a/c loads monitoring. In addition it is used - with help of a ground support equipment - as a tool for investigations of other a/c systems. This paper explains the functions of the system and describes by an example from a real A330 flight how a report is generated and data are provided for the purpose of a/c performance monitoring and how the information is evaluated with the ground support equipment.
