SFIM industries is pleased to introduce the new generation of AIMS recorder, part of the ACMS unit, called ICAR. ICAR consists of the PCMCIA media board (disc or flash prom) used as a mass memory. It can be used as a minimum for: (- Continuous and incremental PCM data recording at various rates (QAR/DAR functions) (- Storage of compressed data on event with pre-event and post-event history data (SAR functions) (- Storage of ACMS reports. Additional functions (like software loading) can also be foreseen. ICAR fits on one PCB that can easily be integrated in all the existing maintenance units from SFIM (DMU and DFDAMU), allowing to propose a "DAR-like" function without adding a separate unit (saving weight, wiring and finally a lot of money).
