The electronic industry has experienced an ongoing increase in integration levels of components as well as orders of magnitude increase in the capacities of storage and recording media. These achievements have benefited the avionics industries, not only by supporting systems with increased capabilities, but have allowed the design ofMulti-fuctional Systems housed in single cabinets or boxes. This "integration of avionics functions" has resulted in efficient and cost effective solutions for the airframe manufacturers and operators. This paper presents the current achievements at Teledyne Controls in the area of Integrated Avionics, as well as future direction and plans.
