Titel:

Active Control of noise in Jet Aircraft Using a Fast Multi-Reference Control Algorithm

Zusammenfassung:
An improved control system has been developed to actively control the complicated interior sound field of a jet aircraft. The most important ability of the system is that it limits the loss of the noise reduction to a specified ratio, even when the rpm differences of the engine shafts are small during a sweep. To achieve this performance the response of the system has to be less sensitive to the vibro-acoustic modes of the cabin acoustics. One of the possible solutions to this problem is applying an additional feedback path in the contoller to design the overall closed-loop behavior of the control system with a quick response. This is already investigated for a Single-Input-SingleOutput active noise system and studied in this paper for Multi-Input-Multi-Output system. Preliminary results show that this approach seems to be promising.
