Zusammenfassung:
In this paper preliminary applications of a unified modal-integral formulation for acoustoaeroelastic problems are presented. We define an acoustoaeroelastic system, as a fluid filled elastic structure in motion within a compressible fluid, in presence of external sound sources This kind of integrated analysis is of great interest in many technical applications. We recall, for instance, the prediction of the noise in the interior of a cabin due to the interaction of the structure with the exterior and interior pressure fields, which is very important in aeronautics. The present approach is a blend of classical modal analysis with Boundary Element Method (BEM). The interior pressure field and the displacements of the structure are described, respectively, in terms of natural modes of vibration of the acoustic cavity and natural modes of vibration of the structure in vacuo. BEM is applied for the determination of the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions (i.e., natural frequencies and modes of vibration) of acoustic cavities with complex geometries, and for the simulation of the external flow, which is addressed using a Boundary Integral Formulation, numerically solved using BEM. A reduction to the finite-state aerodynamics is also presented for the external flow. Very preliminary results are presented using the methodology described in the paper. In particular, no specific analysis has been performed with respect to the issue of the spurious roots arising in the external integral solution.
