Zusammenfassung:
The random noise induced by vortex shedding from two dimensional wings at S0 and 12° angles of attack in a subsonic flow is investigated numerically. A highly accurate finite difference method is used for 3D compressible Navier-Stokes equations to analyze a turbulent flow on a wing. The acoustic far-field is evaluated from the pressure fluctuation on the wing surface. The computed results are compared successfully with the experimental data. The surface dipole strength density is obtained to investigate the typical sound radiation mechanism for several frequency regions.
