On the base of our previous investigations a wide range of fundamental questions associated with dynamic model formulating for three-dimensional aerodynamic sound source is considered. The possibility of combined theoretic and experimental investigations of aeroacoustic features of a separate vortex ring is shown: the reference theoretic model is examined, an acoustic experiment is carried out and visualization methods of fast proceeding processes in the vortex ring core are developed. Within the ideal incompressible fluid there are examined three families of natural oscillations of the vortex ring core: Kelvins, flexural and barrel-like oscillations.
