The paper presents the problem of safety provision against "ground resonance" free vibration of a coaxial helicopter. The following function has been plotted as a result of the carried-out work for safety provision against "ground resonance": relative damping moments in lag hinges of the upper and lower rotors versus helicopter inertia-mass parameter which may be used for a safety evaluation in the process of a helicopter designing.
