Titel:

Analysis and Wind Tunnel Tests of Different Control Laws for Active Flutter Suppression

Zusammenfassung:
Active flutter suppression may be more hopeful to be put into practical application on wing-store configuration. A series of analysis and low speed wind tunnel tests for a wing-store model were conducted and different kinds of control laws were investigated. The first and second control laws are based on the combination of pole assignment and optimal control theory by use of dual optimization procedure and dynamic compensator respectively. The third one was designed by use of aerodynamic energy method. These control laws have been realized in low speed wind tunnel tests and the experimental characteristics of flutter suppression correlate well with the predicted values.
