Titel:

Robust Control Theory Methods in Flutter Analysis

Zusammenfassung:
ABSTRACT. Robust Control Theory methods are applied to the problem of aeroelastic flutter of a system with uncertain structural parameters. More precisely, stability margins pertaining to multiplicative and additive perturbations in the frequency and/or time domains are used to predict the robustness of an aeroelastic desigm based on nominal values of the structural parameters. This approach, which provides an alternative to the computationally intensive methods developed earlier by the first author, is illustrated using a typical wing section example.
