Zusammenfassung:
Dynamic characteristics of flexible lifting surface exposed to air fow is investigated. Lifting surface moving faster than flutter speed experiences large deflection. Geometric nonlinearity is involved in the system dynamic due to large deflection. Aerodynamic load is modelled based on quasi-steady state strip theory. Accordingly system is modelled as nonlinear autonoA1ous equation. In unstc1ble speed region of flying, nonlinear effect makes lifting surface response bounded one. That is, limit cycle and chaotic response are observed. Observed chaotic response is analysed numerically in stochastic sense, which turns out to have narrow band characteristics and weak randomness. Interest is focused on the influence of randomness in chaotic aotion on the internal resonance of the nonlinear aeroelastic lifting surface. Some of features in nonlinear modal energy interaction in the neighborhood of internal resonance condition is presented and discussed.
