Zusammenfassung:
An experimental identification method for developing analytical models of structural dynamics is proposed. This method can be applied, at the design stage, to the component synthesis model. Its major feature is that the experimentally identified parameters of the model can efficiently represent the force equilibrium at the interface points between substructures. The characteristic representation of a substructure identified from base excitation test, consists of a set of modal and interface physical degrees of freedom. The proposed method is performed by measuring the reaction forces under base excitation, and the mathematical algorithm presented herein is formulated optimally to preserve the measured force behaviors in the analytical representation of the substructure. Only a few data points, which can be obtained from dynamic tests with sinusoidal base excitation, are required. Example problems are analyzed by means of a finite element package and also tested experimentally. It is shown that these example problems yield consistent results.
