All results presented in this paper were performed in a two-nations cooperation with French and German partners. These are DLR, MBB, Deutsche Airbus, ONERA and Aerospatiale. The structure of organization, the members of the program management group and a rough work sharing of the project, entitled the Joint Aeroelastic Models Program, are shown in Fig. 1. The project was performed under contract of the German Ministry of Resarch and Technology, contract No . LFK 87110, and the French Direction Techniques de Constructions Aeronautiques.
