The total operation of the agricultural aircraft is discussed as a continuous function based on nine independant variables. A method is shown whereby all the parameters of the operation can be accumulated into a "Universal Productivity Chart" which indicates directly the influence of any one or many parameters on the relative productivity or cost of the operation. In particular, this paper is concerned with the influence of the aircraft parameters (payload, operating speed and time to turn 180°) on the productivity of the operation under different field and agricultural requirements and the influence of the direct operating cost and the aircraft productivity on the cost of the operating per unit area covered. Two hypothetical aircraft are examined, one with a payload of 350 kg and the other with a payload of 700 kg. After examining the productivity and the cost of the operation, a possibility of utilizing two small aircraft versus one big aircraft is closely examined.
